Segmented Bowl from a Board

Cherry and Walnut strips of wood were laminated together forming a board which was then cut on the lathe at 45 degree angles creating three rings. Stacked and glued in the form of a bowl then turned on the lathe a Bowl 8 1/8" wide 3 1/4" deep with Box Elder pedestal. The finish is food safe wax.
